Two Year BBQ

Hey Guys,

Jordan and I were talking about having a party to celebrate our second year of book club. What dates would work best for you guys. We were thinking about some time in June, probably a weekend. We also thought that we would invite significant others and children. Let us know what would work best.

Thanks
Jared

P.S. I think we should read the Edith Grossman translation of Don Quixote

  1. That sounds great. I am mostly free in June, other than the weekend of the 26th of June. I'll be out of town then, but any other weekend should work out for me.

  2. I'm free mys usual times, which is not often enough.... I could do a Saturday morning or early afternoon though. I just need to leave for work by 3pm. Another option for me would be Wed, Thurs, or Friday nights since I'm off those days.

  3. Ok. John can’t make Memorial Day. I seem to be limited in vision due to my currently adopted paradigm. Can someone offer an alternative disciplinary matrix that can incorporate the disparagent temporal anomalies? That is: a date that will work?

  5. July will work for me as well. Although the first weekend is the fourth of July and my birthday and the weekend of the seventeenth is Caleb's and Jayden's birthday. But the other weekends work. Also John said he could do memorial day but he would have to leave by 3:00.

  6. Do we still want to do Memorial Day? I've been told that I have to keep the months of July and August free in case a chance arises that I can go visit family. I'm not allowed to use the "silly boys' book club" (not the exact words, but that's what I heard)as an excuse for not traveling. So, are we back on for Memorial Day?

  9. Sorry. The Memorial Day rug has been pulled out from under us at the Herring home.

  12. My compliments on a fine 2 year anniversary BBQ. Special thanks to the Johnsons for being the perfect hosts and all others who were cajoled, coerced, or conscripted into contributing such an appetizing array of foods. Bravo!
