Walden

Hey guys,
I don't really know how much of Walden we want to read. How about reading the first few sections? See you on Saturday!

Hawthorn

Hey guys,
The Hawthorn we are going to look at are selections from the book Mosses from an Old Manse. The stories are: The Birthmark, Young Goodman Brown, Mrs. Bullfrog, and the The Celestrial Railroad.

Edgar Allen Poe

Hey guys. So along with Washington Irving we decided to do some Poe. Here are the ones we will be reading for next meeting. "The imp of the perverse", "The Tell Tale Heart", "Annabel Lee", and "The Raven". Happy Reading!!!

June 4th Graduation?

I may not make it to the meeting. It may be preempted by high school graduation which may be preempted by the rain.

The Federalist Papers

In some versions of The Papers Hamilton's introduction is considered the first federalist paper. I think Brent's version doesn't count the introduction, so Brent, you'll have to do math accordingly.

Let's read Federalsit Papers, 1,8,10,15,41,51,54,62,68,69,70,84,85.

Happy Reading!

Next Meeting

Are we meeting next on April 2nd or April 9th?

Book Club Delayed

Unfortunately this Saturday Jared and I can’t make it to book club. I was wondering if we could reschedule for next Saturday. If we do decide to switch days let’s read through the chapter The Mission up to pg. 394. Jared and I will be spending time with family at a beach house. I hope this finds you well.
